Targeted CNA Courses/Synchronous classes
At the YAYA Academy, we provide targeted course materials to ensure that you are have the most up to date information on the market. Students attend online classes with the instructor in a casual environment.
All registered students will also have a chat access (online discussion forums) for instant messaging for needed support after hours.
Students must login online for the theory portion every morning at 8am for classes, and attendance will be taken every dat.
Students will have access to online skills videos that prepare them for skills lab and clinical settings.

Monday- Friday Schedule
Theory Hours: 8.00 AM- 5:00 PM
Clinical Hours: 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM
5 weeks (160 hours)
Hours include 60 hours of Theory and 100 hours of Clinical Training.
Flexible Online CNA Program
We offer approved virtual CNA synchronous courses that are completed online with a live instructor. Students do the whole theory and quizzes/exams online and enjoy the flexibility of studying at home.
E-Learning and Internet Requirements
~Students must have a computer or tablet with an internet connection to enroll in our program.
~Students must attend mandatory clinical practicum in person on designated days.

Hardware & Software Requirements
-Desktop computers or laptops with Windows 10, a webcam, microphone, speakers, and access to an internet connection.
~An IPAD with IOS can also be utilized. Using cell phones is discouraged as these do not support all of the instructional materials
~Access to the internet
Clinicals Requirements
- Proof of COVID-19 Vaccinations (Minimum 3 shots required)
- Proof of Absence of TB, (Either PPD ( Skin Test), CHEST X-RAY, or Blood Test), within the last 6 months
- Recent physical exam, within the last 12 months
- Proof of FLU Vaccine if enrollment is within the FLU season
- Copy of ID/Social Security Card

YAYA offers a CNA program HYBRID program (online and in person) for only 5 weeks.
ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS
~Must be age 16 or older
~Must be able to read English at the 6th grade level or higher (please note an English Assessment test is required to enroll).
~Must possess and submit a copy of a valid state ID and Social Security Number or ITIN number
~Must have no prior convictions and if they do, must disclose these convictions as required by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH).
~Must undergo a background check (LIVESCAN) as required by the CDPH

~Must have access to a computer or an IPAD with a stable internet connection (cell phones are discouraged for course work due to display technical issues).
~Must have self-discipline and the ability to complete required online courses within established deadlines and timeframes as designated for each day of the program
-Must present a copy of a picture ID and a copy of the social security card/or ITIN copy.
Graduation Requirements:
To meet the graduation requirements, the student must complete the following:
- All required 60 hours of Theory Training (17 Modules), and 100 hours of Clinical Training.
- A grade of 80% or better in all theory modules and a minimum of 3 finals.
- Passing clinical evaluations with Satisfactory performances demonstrating that the student has successfully completed all clinical objectives.
- All tuition balances and fees are paid.
The student will qualify to take the State Competency Evaluation Exam after all graduation requirements are met.
