Who We Are
YAYA Medical Training Institute was founded to provide training and certification preparation for Certified Nurse Aide candidates. YAYA noticed the need for competent nurse aides to join the increasing demand of nurse assistants in the hospital settings and long term care facilities. Our goal is to prepare our students to be competent nursing assistants that are knowledgeable and safe, have a caring attitude, and are able to provide excellent nursing care. Yaya is a Swahili word that means “nanny”, and although a nurse assistant is not a nanny, the essence of nursing were borne out of home care giving.
We are approved by the California Department of Public Health to offer the Certified Nurse Assistant course and continuing education for CNA’s and Home Health Aides. Our CNA program runs for only 5 Weeks. Imagine that. In only 5 weeks, you can be ready for state certification and for a new career. We are also certified by CDPH to provide the Home Health Aide (HHA) program. We are an American heart Association provider approved for CPR and BLS courses.
